MODERN SLAVERY ACT STATEMENT
Issue Date: 01/09/2025
JRM Godden Associates Ltd acknowledges the provisions of the Modern Slavery Act 2015
and commits to complying with its obligations to ensure transparency within our business and
through our suppliers of goods and services.
Accordingly, JRM Godden Associates Ltd has a zero-tolerance approach to modern
slavery both within our business and within our supply chain.
JRM Godden Associates Ltd are suppliers of dried fruit products, mainly from our
Mediterranean (Turkish) packers, and we distribute to our UK Customers through our 3 rd Party
Logistics Partners.
We operate a UK and overseas team under the guidance of our Managing Director, Richard
Godden, to oversee our compliance to the Modern Slavery Act alongside our own, and supply
chain, systems and procedures.
Within our business we have our own HR policy on preventing hidden labour exploitation and
we continue to push training and development of this through our supply chain with training
and education on Slavery and human trafficking at induction and through posters, briefings
and e-learning.
Incorporated within this process is the importance of reporting slavery and human trafficking
through suspicion and most importantly confidential whistleblowing direct to our designated in-
country phone and email access points and all overseen by our Managing Director, Richard
Godden.
We acknowledge that one of our key risk areas is the use of any temporary labour, either
directly or through our supply chain, and we work with all providers of services to ensure they
understand what is required and that the necessary steps are taken to tackle any potential for
hidden labour exploitation. Audits and interviews are undertaken through our supply chain and
both reported back and challenged.
Within our supply chain the above (and further) procedures are practiced, with audited supplier
assessments being the starting point and operating through our mapped supply chain at tier I
level and where possible to tier 2 and 3 in person or remotely. Should change be required it is
immediate and detailed.
Statement Review is annual, and will be published on our website.
To date no infringements have been identified. Reporting KPI’s for 2025 are detailed below:
1) Do all our supply chain sites provide annual Modern Slavery awareness training?
YES – 100%
2) Do all our supply chain sites provide a Whistleblowing procedure – for off site
